After the resignation of four ministers from Punjab cabinet , the Bhagwant Mann government has announced a cabinet expansion.
The Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government will induct new faces into its cabinet after four ministers (Chetan Singh Jouramajra, who holds charge of defense services welfare, welfare of freedom fighters, horticulture, information, and public reforms; Bram Shankar Jimpa, revenue, rehabilitation and disaster management, water supply and sanitation minister; Balkar Singh, local government and parliamentary affairs minister; and Anmol Gagan Mann, tourism and culture affairs, investment promotion, labour, and hospitality) resigned on Sunday. Their resignation was accepted by the Mann government and forwarded to the Governor with immediate effect.
The Punjab government announced that the cabinet expansion will take place this evening in which new faces will include Barinder Kumar Goyal, Taranpreet Singh Sond, Mahinder Bhagat, and Hardeep Singh Mundian.
