The Mumbai Police apprehended an additional suspect, identified as Amit Hisamsing Kumar, on Wednesday in relation to the murder case involving NCP leader Baba Siddique.
Kumar, aged 29, resides in Nathwan Patti, located in Kaithal, Haryana. His arrest has brought the total number of individuals in custody related to this case to eleven.
On Sunday, the Mumbai Police apprehended a scrap dealer named Bhagwat Singh Om Singh in Navi Mumbai as part of the ongoing murder investigation. Singh, originally from Udaipur in Rajasthan, is alleged to have supplied a firearm to the assailants who fatally shot the NCP leader on October 12.
Baba Siddique was attacked and killed by three assailants outside the office of his son, Zeeshan Siddique. The police have taken into custody two of the shooters: Gurmail Baljit Singh, aged 23, and Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap, aged 19.
